The George Manstein, MD Award
The George Manstein, MD award is presented to the Resident, who in the view of the judges, presents an outstanding scientific paper at the Annual Meeting of the Robert H. Ivy Pennsylvania Plastic Surgery Society. Dr. Manstein was president of the Ivy Society in 1978-79 and for many years was Chairman of Plastic Surgery of Albert Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia. The award was created by his sons, Carl H. Manstein, MD and Mark Eric Manstein, MD, both Ivy members.
